The Eugenia Chapter of the FNPS had a nonprofit booth at Gardenfest! 2024, February 3 and 4. Much thanks to Karen and Don Schuster for loaning us their tent again and all the people who volunteered to “sit the booth”: Katherine Booth, John Ericson, Carla Flournoy, Tim Glover, Peggy Goodknight, Mariam Greene, Marsha Hall, David Martin, Jenifer Mina, Nick Polge, Felicity Rask, Carol Thomas.
We also thank Native Butterfly Flowers for loaning us plants to enhance our booth and promote the native plant theme.
We had a variety of different types of handouts to distribute. It is encouraging to see interest gaining in native plants judging by how many people stopped by the booth to ask questions and/or pick up literature.
